2. Description of Service

CV Lab is a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform that provides CV (curriculum vitae) customization services. Our Service uses artificial intelligence technology to analyze your CV and job descriptions, then generates tailored CVs and cover letters optimized for specific job applications.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Service.

4. Account Registration and Security

Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials and all activity under their account.

5. Subscription Plans and Payment Terms

5.5 Cancellation and Refunds

• You may cancel your Pro subscription at any time through the Stripe billing portal.

• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

• All payments are non-refundable, including partial subscription periods, unused time, and unused credits.

• By purchasing a subscription or using credits, you expressly request immediate access to our digital services and acknowledge that you lose your statutory 14-day right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, to the extent permitted by law.

7. Intellectual Property Rights

You retain ownership of your uploaded content and generated outputs. CV Lab retains all rights to the platform and software.

8. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

AI-generated content may contain errors, omissions, or biased outputs. You are solely responsible for reviewing and verifying all generated content before use.

The Service is provided “as is” and without warranties of any kind.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim, or £100, whichever is lower.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or fraudulent misrepresentation.
